Sales Manager  - Holiday Inn Columbus Downtown

Holiday Inn Columbus Downtown Capitol Square seeks an experienced and energetic Sales Manager to help drive the property's potential.

This position is responsible for achieving hotel revenue, profit and customer satisfaction goals by developing and implementing strategies to increase product awareness and hotel sales. Participates in the development and implementation of business strategies for the hotel aligned with company / property mission, vision, and values. Achieves market share and revenue goals by directing the Corporate and government sales and marketing strategies.The property is located in a great location in Columbus, OH close to shopping and dining.

Essential Functions:



Establishes and maintains close contact with Top and Target accounts through outside sales calls, telemarketing calls, tours, appointments, correspondence and entertainment.

Maintains accurate sales files using the hotel sales CRM (Hotel Sales Pro) system.

Develops department associate attitude of attentiveness and anticipation of the guests needs.

Participates in community activities, associate functions and guest events. Travel as needed.
